My Favorite Movie

To begin, I must mention that it was very difficult for me to choose a single favorite movie. However, after so much thinking I decided to write about “Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone”. Why did I choose it as my favorite movie? because it is the first film of the film series based on the novels written by J. K. Rowling, therefore it is the beginning of the great story that takes place in the 8 great movies! also because I love seeing the main characters being children just like I was when it was released, without forgetting that I love the plot, its script, its characters and the magic it contains and generates!

This is a fantasy and adventure film, which was released in 2001. The story revolves around Harry Potter, an orphan boy in the care of his uncles, who when he turns 11 years old, discovers that he is a magician and is summoned to the school of magic and sorcery "Hogwarts". 

                                        

                                          

The cast is fabulous, is composed principally by Daniel Radcliffe as Harry Potter, Rupert Grint as Ron Weasley and Emma Watson as Hermione Granger, who together with Ron are Harry's best friends, also Richard Harris as Albus Dumbledore, who is the director of Hogwarts, to this is added Robbie Coltrane as Rubeus Hagrid one of the most beloved characters (Hogwarts game wardens), also Maggie Smith as Minerva McGonagall (Hogwarts deputy director and head of the Gryffindor house) and many more actors who embody diverse and interesting characters in the film.

                            

To finish, I must mention that I don't remember exactly when it was the first time I saw this movie, however I remember that I was very small and most likely she was with my Dad. I hope that those who have not seen it can see it, I recommend it for those who love fantasy!
